Good Morning, fabulous friends and welcome to Amy Jo's Birthday Bash & Blog Hop! We are so excited you could join us today to help celebrate Amy's birthday!

This card was created by Anna Zuniga and she used Creative Kuts Digital Image called: Sweet Thing Banana Split Notice how she didn't color in the Banana. Instead she made it to look like the bowl and the bears feet. Anna Colored in the image with her copic markers and added some glossy accents to the "chocolate syrup".

Well let me introduce you to Michelle Sheehan!

Hi, I'm Michelle, I'm 36 (37 in April) and live in Canberra, Australia with my husband Lee. We have been married for 9 years and don't have any children as yet. We do have 2 Maltese terriers, Snoopy and Chloe.

I have been scrapping for nearly 9 years and totally addicted. When creating layouts I use photos of my family, general photos and photos of my 8 month old niece. I also enjoy making cards and it’s a good feeling knowing people like your cards. I am Team Leader for the digi team for Creative Kuts and love being a part of CK's Design Team as they are part of my family. I mainly get my files as digi's but will get the cut files as well, I do have to hand cut it all as I don't have a die cut machine. I love coloring in the digi's with my copic markers which I'm totally addicted to as well.

Let's meet Bonnie Guess!!!

Bonnie is a Design Team Admin for Creative Kuts.

My name is Bonnie Guess, I'm the owner of a scrapbook Retreat that my DH and I have been running for last 8 years. I've been married to my DH and best friend for almost 12 years. We have 4 sons and 9 grand kids. When I am not with them or working you will find me Scrapbooking, Baking, Knitting or Crocheting. I love creating things and I've been Scrapping for about 10 years

Today I would like you to meet Janet Royer.

Janet is part of the Creative Kuts Digi Design Team.

I'm married to a great guy who enables my crafting habits! I have 2 daughters, 2 step-sons, all grown and out on their own! I have two grandchildren, one girl who is turning 11 and one boy who is turning 2. There's another one on the way this September! I recently retired from the local Girl Scout Council, and spent 35 years leading troops, outreach programs, recruiting and training adult volunteers, working with day and resident camp programs and local business to provide girls wonderful opportunities! My camp name was "Crafty".. because if anyone had a question, needed an idea, they were sent to me! I took the early retirement to play with all the crafting supplies I've accumulated over the years. Kept buying the newest and latest thing so when I did retire and couldn't afford it, I'd be set for life. At this point, I need to live to be 150! I've loved being a part of Creative Kuts and it's opened the world of paper piecing and digital stamping to me! I had no idea!! Hey everyone!!!! I want you to meet Gina Long, the lady behind the Build a Projects.

I'm a stay at home wife/mom (I never seem to be home long...LOL) and I've been married to my husband for 19 years this June. We have three wonderful and busy daughters.. We live in Kansas ,and enjoy having lots of farm animals and are involved in 4H, and on the 4H Council. I have always been a creative person, drawing, painting and love photos. I would like to introduce you to Sandra De Long, one of Creative Kuts Design Team members.

I'm a stay at home wife and I've been married to my husband for 29 years. I have two grown children and two grandchildren. I keep my grandchildren after school and the days they are out of school. I love country music! My husband and I travel alot going to concerts. I've been crafting for as long as I can remember. I love cross stitch, bead weaving and playing with paper! I got my Cricut Expression 3 years ago but I didn't do much with it until I found SVGs and the SCAL program! I've mostly made cards or paper pieced decorations for family and friends, but I've gotten into making layouts very recently. I became a member of the Creative Kuts' design team in January 2012.

I want to start this Tuesday off with introducing another Creative Kuts design team member.
Kristen Reimers.

Hi this is Kristen. I'm on the digital team of Creative Kuts, and I work with the digi stamps. I started scrap booking with my grandma, and I still do scrapbook with my grandma. The first album that I made was a memory album in honor of my mom. Scrapbooking and design inspired me to pursue an educational background in design and marketing. Last January I started working with digi stamps, but I still work with paper piecing. One thing that I love is being able to send a card or gift to my family members. I joined the Creative Kuts team in January 2012. i also share what I make on my blog.

Here is what Gina has for you this Monday!

You will receive the file for the Hutch Card and you decorate it and add your embellishments. Gina used the cut file "Sew Much Love" to embellish her card with. She cut out actual scraps of material to add to this adorable card. Not only does the hutch doors open up but the whole thing opens up to add you sentiment or note to that special someone.

Send your email to Gina@creativekuts.com and request week 7 build a project.

Then share it on the Facebook Fan page by 5:00 PM PST Sunday. You can request this BAP on Monday and Tuesday.

Let's start today with introducing you to one of our

Design Team members,

Lisa Graves.

I asked Lisa to give us a little insight on her and here is what has to share with us.

Hi this is Lisa, I have been married to my husband Bryan for 19 years. I have always been a creative person, drawing, painting, decorating, etc. since I was old enough to hold a crayon. I began scrapbooking in 1997 after viewing a Carole Duvall episode devoted to scrapbooking on HGTV. From there I progressed into paper piecing, long before all the cutting machines were available, and eventually began selling my paper piecing’s on EBay in 1999. I have continued to sell on EBay off and on since that time. I also enjoy graphic design and love to play around with vintage images; this has led to selling tags, stationery, cards and wedding invitations on Etsy. I joined the Creative Kuts design team in May of 2011.

She has created this great smash album to put all of those pesky little recipe clippings that we keep clipping out of the magazines and news paper and want to try and just putting in the kitchen drawer. What a GREAT idea Janet. I think this is something we ALL need. I know I have a few of those here and there and everywhere. She used the " A#Chef (Girl)" file for this project

From Jaent: "I made a "smush" book. No trademark violation there! LOL I used the Chef girl and covered a composition journal and made the tabs (Stampin Up punch). I always cut out recipes, coupons, etc. from magazines, newspapers, Sunday paper, and then they get smushed into a drawer and I never use them. So I thought if I had a cute little place to put them, and make my notes about whether we liked it or not.. would be helpful. If not, nothing else to do, if so, then they will make their way to my file!"

I used one of our Candy Bar Wrapper File to make this page. Instead of Mounting my elements on the wrapper in the file I chose to break things up so that it acts a different elements on the page. It is just 4 more days until Christmas but not to late to create a little extra something for that special someone. Our design team member Julie has created such adorable things and gives you Great ideas for you to try yourself!

Julie used the Snowman box to create all the pieces.

She created a treat box, candy bar wrapper and popcorn wrapper.

She also covered a small can and made a border with the snowmans head to wrap around the can to fill with treats.

Today I have decided to share with you my new cookbook I have designed and available in our store. I always thought it would be a great idea to have a cookbook not only filled with delicious recipes but able to show who passed down the recipe through the generations. There are so many ways this cookbook would be a fabulous gift for someone special, like a bridal shower. Having all the guest share a recipe and showing who gave it would just be a wonderful memory years later. Even a beautiful gift for a daughter with pictures of the family member that shared a recipe.

We have a FUN new Challenge for everyone over at the Creative Kuts Forum.

For this Month of November the quote is “It’s Fall Y’all”

Our DT member Eva will be heading up this challenge and this is what she wanted to tell you about it:

You can do Fall, Thanksgiving, something falling…you pick and have fun with it. You may use any files to make your project but if you use files from Creative Kuts you get an extra entry into the drawing.

You can make any type of Paper Project you would like…card, layout, 3-d object, Banner whatever you want to create.

You may enter as many times during the month as you would like as long as you stay within the theme of the quote for each project.

You have the choice to add the wording of the quote on your project or not…that is up to you.

There will be one winner randomly drawn at the end of the month for each challenge. The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to the Creative Kuts Store.

I made Thanksgiving Blocks to show you a 3-d project for my project. Click Here to find this file in the store, Thanksgiving Blocks.

I had so much fun making this. I Made my own different sized Blocks and then added the fun Paper Piecing Kit from Creative Kuts. I use inks to ink the edges of all my pieces before I assemble them. I think this is so important for the overall outcome in paper piecing. I used my D’vine Swirls Cuttlebug folder on the watering can and Swiss Dots for the center of the Sunflowers.

Santa Collection by Lisa G.

Lisa G. used the Santa Collection, which can be found here at http://www.creativekuts.com/Santa-CollecSC1010.htm. She created all the paper piecings first. Then she triple matted her mats for her photos. She created a couple of borders on the top and bottom. She also put some extra mats in the sleigh which can either be used for journaling or extra pictures. Her background paper is pink which goes very nicely with the other main color of green. This is such a lovely layout. Makes me want it for myself.

I used Creative Kuts Haunted House Mini Album

For the various other piecings I used the cut file "Halloween Theme" for the Cat and "Halloween Fun" for the Bear Witch. The bats are from the Haunted house mini album file, I just made them different sizes. I used Prima flowers, ribbon and brads and buttons for additional embellishments.

I used the Gingerbread Collection 2. I used papers from a my Memories page kit. This is an adorable Paper piecing kit fromCreative Kuts.

I used a few different Cuttlebug folders. For the little building I used candy cane stripe. For the bowl I used Spots and Dots. On the wheel of the wheel Barrow I also used Spots and Dots to give it the look of a rim. I used black vinyl for all of the letters and loved the ease of that decision. Cookies for Santa layout by Lisa DT

Lisa made a cute layout titled Cookies for Santa. Lisa started out with 2 background pieces and then added two borders on the top and bottom. Then she took and made her mats with ribbon and with scalloped edges. She cut out two bears and one title piece. Her bears are so adorable. Wouldn't you agree? She included two journaling tags with scalloped edges and ribbons in green and red. She put it all together and created a showpiece.

Halloween Theme Layout by Jamie

Jamie chose to use the Halloween Theme pattern to create her layout. Click on Halloween Theme to find the cute pattern. She made the paper piecings from the file and added it to several different papers which she used as border and background paper. Jamie double matted her mats and used ribbon across the mat which allows room to slide the picture in behind the ribbon. This layout is spooky and cute for any Halloween pictures you might like to add to it.

Welcome to Gaby's project for Tuesday. She used a black gift bag and then covered it with glitter orange cardstock. Then Gaby made the glitter flowers and decorated them. Gaby's last step was to add black ribbon. Gaby tells me she had fun with this cute hat and she loves Halloween!!! She used the If It Fits pattern.

Hangen In The Patch by Cynthia

Cynthia began her project by using the pattern Hangen In The Patch. Cynthia used a wooden birdhouse & wooden fence that she painted white and than sprayed with Glimmer Mist "Suede". The trunk of the tree she used the inside of the paper towel roll and cut it to desired size. With a brown paper bag wrapped around the trunk,she used brown paint to mimic a trunk. She used moss to cover the ground and the birdhouse. Double sided Bazzill paper to create the pumpkins and Recollections paper for the Bird and other cuts. For the sign she just printed on the computer and used twine to hang it around the fence. Of course to top it off she need BLING!!!

A Mini Christmas

Maria, with Creative Kuts design team, has created a Mini Album using the cut file

"Gingerbread Mini Album".

There are so many things you can do with this album.

You can add pictures of the kids making Christmas cookies and add the recipes on one of the pages.

Do you and the kids make a Ginger bread house every year at Christmas? Let this be your your mini album you create each year to host all those great pictures and memories.

You can add more pages just by using the house shape and adding just nothing but Christmas recipes and give as gifts for the holidays, the possibilities are endless, just let your mind go crazy with it.

Maybe even those photos of that hunting trip that hubby went on with the boys would find its way on this layout!!

Hangen in there - Hump Day

Eva has made a wonderful tent card for you today.

I used 2 different files from Creative Kuts on this card. The first is "Hangen in the the patch". with all of the fun Pumpkins and Leaves and the Scarecrow. I also added in a couple of fun Sunflowers which are new files just recently added. I made the stems thicker and curled them around to give my flowers a real 3-D look. The Large leaves are popped up on the flower stems and so are the flowers themselves. I also popped up the center pumpkin and the middle toe’s or claw’s if you will on the Scarecrow. I added some raffia to look like hay on the scarecrow. I took some and made a cute bow with it also at the bottom of the card and added some leaves and a little orange bling to the center. I used my D‘Vine Swirls cuttlebug folder on the pumpkins. There is a tutorial on the Creative Kuts Blog for the flowers including these sunflower’s I did here.

Amazing after Febie had sweet daydreams of a hunk yesterday, and today a Prince of Darkness! Bonnie, Bonnie, Bonnie, make up your mind, either sweet daydreams or that of Prince of Darkness. As for now, Bonnie has designed for you a Prince of Darkness but I have no idea who the real Prince of Darkness she has in the background. I can tell you though, Bonnie did use from Creative Kuts My Prince of Darkness. Personally, though I don't think he's Febie's type! Great job Bonnie!!!! Hugs and love to all!
